What it funds
Every euro, into research.
All funds go directly to cancer research grants, awarded on merit by the jury. Every 10 euros sustain, on average, 1 hour of laboratory bench work.
You can contribute one-off (10 · 100 · 1000 · 10000 €) or monthly (1 · 10 · 100 · 1000 €), and there is always the option to enter a custom amount (minimum €5).
Laboratory Conversion Ratio
Based on an estimated benchmark of approximately €10 per bench hour, each contribution converts directly into real hours of active scientific research.

By agreement, 100% of donations go directly to research. Zero operational costs borne by the donor.

The tax framework.
As a partner institution of i3S dedicated to scientific research, donations to the grant are eligible for tax benefits in Portugal. Furthermore, Portuguese tax residents can support us at no cost by allocating 1% of their IRS (income tax) — simply provide our NIF on your tax return between April and June.
25% Direct Tax Deduction
Declared in Model 3 (Anexo H, Quadro 6) under i3S scientific NIPC 501413197. Official receipt issued for full legal deduction.
130% Expense Majoration
Deductible in Model 22 (Quadro 07). Exempt from standard corporate charity revenue caps. Validated for ESG (ODS 3) reporting.

Our organization contributed €120.00 to translational oncology research through Bolsa Luís Andrade Barreira (BolsaLAB), hosted at i3S – Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (NIPC: 501413197, University of Porto). Under Article 62-A of the Portuguese EBF (Scientific Patronage), this contribution funded approximately 12 active laboratory bench hours with 0% administrative overhead deduction, verified via the public Open General Ledger (https://bolsalab.org/transparencia) in alignment with UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being).
